Bravo to a bunch of young neighbours at Cambridge Court in Cote Saint-Luc who put their artistic skills to use this morning in support of helping sick kids at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
Milla is a very talented 11 year old who’s jewellery-making skills can rival someone three times her age. Bracelets, rings and necklaces were up for grabs at very fair prices all in aid of the MCH. Her sister, 9 year old Max was equally passionate about moving her colourfully crafted Origamis.
Serena, 10, made thirteen hand drawn laminated placemats while sixth-graders, Sam and Justin, weaved cool bracelets out of elastic bands.
Paige, Nicole, Nathalie, Marlo and Marlee manned their duct tape booth with crafted flowers, ipod cases, wallets and more, some sporting the Habs emblem. They also offered non-permanent tattooing.
Also participating were Ben, Jonathan, Jacob and Jeremy.
All told the kids raised an amazing $258.95 thanks to their patrons that consisted mostly of their parents, grandparents, friends and neighbours.
Planning for an even more successful 2014 Art Show is actively being discussed in the playground at this hour!
Congrats to the kids from Cambridge Court! Great job for a great cause. You should all be very proud of your efforts and the difference you will make in the lives of kids at the hospital.
