I think that the best place for the postal boxes would be at the postal station in Ville St Laurent. Then the mail delivery would not require any trucks to deliver mail to the citizens of CSL. If you are going to cut delivery, why stop at the residential delivery.
And of course, commercial businesses should fair no better.

Here is why the cut to postal services. The Conservative government made an internal committment to have zero deficit by 2015. The conservatives want to be elected, come hell or high water, on the basis of zero deficit because of allowing zero services. They are going to cut services until that re-lection is completed. Then they will advertise how wonderful they are, when they introduce the services they cut.
So cut services, and use that money to allow Harper all those foreign trips to Europe, Imagine that cost, with government planes, cost to part the planes, the hotel and restaurent accomodations and the like.
I would like to know how much of the postal money went into his waste of time trips. (Has Harper never heard of Skype?)
Yes, I am an angry anti Conservative cut services” party that thinks Canadian Citizens are stupid.
